Sympathy Flowers for the Home or Office
Some people choose to send flowers a week or so after the funeral when the initial chaos has passed. A nice gesture is to send flowers to the home or office to remind the bereaved that you have not forgotten them and you are still thinking of them and their loss. Even if a few weeks have passed since the death, flowers are a comforting reminder that friends are still thinking of the family throughout the grieving process.
All kinds of flowers and colors are appropriate for sympathy arrangements. Tastefully arranged sympathy flowers to the home or office are delivered in a vase or basket and are a much smaller display then a funeral arrangement that would be sent to the service.
